Here you can find out how to pay tolls using New Zealand's first free flow electronic toll road – The Northern Gateway Toll Road.

The toll road offers motorists the choice of a more direct route when travelling between Orewa and Puhoi.

Tolls will be charged using the latest free-flow tolling technology. The electronic toll system is designed to keep traffic flowing freely, at speeds up to 100 km/h open road limit, without any need to change lanes or stop.

Free-flow tolling does not use toll booths, instead motorists drive on the road with tolls automatically calculated as they pass beneath our toll point. You don't have to stop to pay or hunt for loose change on your journey. You can simply set up an account with us and we'll deduct your tolls automatically.
